Laksa Sarawak & Laksa Penang
Laksa Penang is made with mackerel soup and its main distinguishing feature is the asam or tamarind which gives the soup a sour taste. Laksa Penang at this restaurant very
tasty and the fish used are very fresh with lots of onions.
Laksa Penang
It
has a base of Sambal belacan, sour tamarind, garlic, galangal, lemon grass and
coconut milk, topped with omelett estrips, chicken strips, prawns, fresh
coriander and optionally lime. The
unique of Laksa at this restaurant is using the homemade laksa paste. Laksa
is around RM4.50 – RM5.50 per plate.
Rojak - The
term "Rojak" is Malay for mixture.
Rojak contains
fried dough fritters, bean curds, boiled potatoes, prawn fritters, hard boiled
eggs, bean sprouts, cuttlefish and cucumber mixed with a sweet thick, spicy
peanut sauce.
